Nominations for WalkSandiego Golden Footprint Awards - January 16, 2009 - Nominations are now being accepted for WalkSan Diego's Golden Footprint Awards. This year, WalkSanDiego will give the Golden Footprint Award in one or more of the following categories: Individuals (both Adult and Youth), Private or Non-profit Organizations, Programs or Projects, and Government Agencies. The awards will be made at WalkSanDiego's 10th Anniversary Gala on February 12, 2009. To nominate a project, please complete form below. Nominations are due January 16 so don't delay.
Golden FootPrint Award Nomination Form
APACA Diversity Summary Report - A copy of the report summarizing the Third Annual California Chapter of the American Planning Association Diversity Summit which was held at the 2008 APACA Conferernce in Hollywood, CA is now available in the Diversity Resources section of the SDAPA library. The report consists of written speeches of the speakers and transcription and notes taken during break-out portion of the program by the various group discussion facilitators.

APACA Call for Presentations - January 30, 2009 - The APACA 2009 Conference Committee is now accepting session abstracts for the APACA 2009 Conference at the Resort at Squaw Creek, Lake Tahoe, September 13-16, 2009. Deadline for submissions is January 30, 2009! Abstracts should be submitted on the "Session Submission Form" available from the APACA website (see link below). Notification of selected submissions is scheduled for mid-March 2009.
