      AICP Exam Preparation Question & Answer Session - October 6, 2009 - The San Diego Section of the American Planning Association (SDAPA) is hosting a Question and Answer (Q&A) gathering to share tips and strategies in preparation for the AICP exam. Come hear from recent test takers regarding the latest tools available for study, and types of questions that may be encountered on the exam. For more information please download flyer.       Interested in writing an article for the Planning Journal? - SDAPA is actively seeking submissions for this Fall's edition. We are particularly interested in obtaining articles and/or pictures from those who attended the APA California 2009 Conference in Tahoe. Please contact Asha Saunders at saundersar at gmail.com for more information or to make submissions.  
        
      Call for Mobile Workshops: 2010 State Conference - October 9, 2009 - Now that the 2009 state conference is over, the spotlight turns to San Diego. We are the next host of the CALAPA conference scheduled for November 1-4, 2010. You'll be hearing more very soon, but for now the Conference Committee is seeking your ideas and energy in developing Mobile Workshops for our conference. We are looking for topics, offers to host/sponsor them, and leaders for them. All ideas should be submitted by October 9, 2009. Please use link on SDAPA home page www.sdapa.org to make submissions.

      Hold the Date Saturday November 21st for our SDAPA Law & Ethics Seminar - November 21, 2009 - The program will include 3.0 AICP CM Credits meeting the required credits for Law and Ethics. 

      Speakers will be: 
      8:30-10:00 AM Shawn Hagerty, esq. - Law 
      10:30-12:00 PM Carol Barrett, FAICP- Ethics. 

      Approx. $60 for 2 sessions, 3 CM credits

      You may attend only one session if desired, however the fee will not be reduced. Sorry, but you may not bank Law or Ethics CM credits. 
       

      Continental Breakfast and snacks will be provided.
