      Call for Conference Presentations - February 26, 2010 - Section Members: A reminder that the San Diego Conference Committee will be selecting local proposals to fill 20% of the regular sessions at the conference. Please submit your session through the CCAPA website at: http://www.calapa.org/2010-conference/. The deadline for submission is February 26. Also, please email Betsy McCullough, Programs Chair, at harenet at cox.net with your name and session title after you submit so our conference committee can be on the lookout for your submission.

      AICP Exam Training - February 20, 2010 - The San Diego APA section is proud to offer the upcoming AICP training for candidates who wish to take the exam in May or November 2010. This training is offered only once a year. Due to limited seating capacity early registration until January 25th will be open to SDAPA members only. Others may register after January 25th. Coffee and snacks will be available.

      UCSD Extension: Annual Land-Use Law and Legislative Update - February 19, 2010 - Major court cases and legislation passed in 2009 could dramatically change land use law in California.       Golden FootPrint Awards: Call for Nominations - February 26, 2010 - WalkSanDiego invites your nominations for the 2010 Golden Footprints Awards. The Golden Footprint Award recognizes efforts to promote walkability and enhance the pedestrian environment in San Diego County. This year, WalkSanDiego will give the Golden Footprint Award in each of the following categories:

      . Individuals . Non-profit organizations . For-Profit organizations . Local jurisdictions 

      Awards will be presented to winners at WalkSanDiego's Annual Awards Gala on Thursday, April 22, 2010.
