SDAPA March Luncheon - Complete Streets/Livable Streets: Rethinking Street Design - March 4, 2010 - Please join us to learn how our streets can do a whole lot more than move vehicles. Complete/Livable streets move vehicles more safely, while providing space for a variety of different users: pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit services. In addition, complete/livable streets can serve as aesthetic resources to the community through increased landscaping, art and urban design features. This luncheon will explain the concept of complete/livable streets and provide examples of streets that have been retrofitted.
